Edrine Wanyama is a dual trained lawyer in Uganda and Tanzania. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Dar es Salaam, a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) from Makerere University and a Diploma in Legal Practice (Dip L.P) from the Law Development Centre (Uganda). He graduated with the distinction of being in the top 10% of his class.
He has published extensively in the areas of: Legal Framework on International Economic Activities; Natural Resources; Introduction to Economic Analysis and Policy; Competition Law and Economic Regulation in East Africa.
Edrine is a specialist in East African Community Law, the Law of Economic Integration, International Law, Not for Profit Legislation.
Before joining the Firm, he has worked for under the commercial law firm of Katende, Ssempebwa before joining the not for profit sector. He has led teams focusing on commercial law reform, legislative analysis and research under HURINET (Uganda), and the Eastern Africa Centre for Constitutional Development.
His practice focuses on managing the compliance portfolio for the multinational clients and being a key member of the commercial litigation team.
